Let's meet. Chemistry is important. A common vision is important. We will discuss your project in depth, review your request for a proposal, go away, do some research, call and ask questions and sometimes, meet again.
Then we send a contract, a detailed statement of work - which is our proposal, and a line item estimate. The statement of work and estimate are often a menu of possibilities. You decide which items you want and we negotiate costs. You then get a fresh contract, statement of work and estimate, which reflect the final project scope and negotiated price. An initial payment is required to begin and the remainder is paid at project milestones.
Computer content development is a collaborative process. It is likely that the project will evolve from your initial vision. We welcome your input. Often, positive new possibilities come to light. But success means achieving your original vision, even if other goals were met. We gently keep you on track.
One technique we use is to publish all content under development, all issues and comments, to our Extranet server. Everyone involved can see the project come to life as the templates are fleshed out. Its easy to see if the project is on course, and if not, what are the unforeseen demands. All decision makers review the same content - we are literally on the same electronic page.
For larger projects we create a blueprint including user demographics, the content outline, charted data integration, (Where is the content information coming from, what user information must be captured, where is it sent and why.) the IT implementation, i.e. hardware, OS, security, redundancy and archiving protocols, schedules and the design criteria. With your signature on our documents, we begin.
